In July 2020, Dr Yu commenced a Clinical Fellowship with Dr Allan Young, Dr Ben Cass and Dr Jeff Hughes (current President of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia) at the highly respected Sydney Shoulder Research Insititute. Operating at various public and private hospitals in the Sydney North Shore region, Dr Yu was able to hone his techniques associated with reconstruction surgery of the unstable shoulder in elite athletes, rotator cuff repair, and replacement of the arthritic shoulder and elbow.
