In January 2020 Dr Yu travelled to Annecy, France to work with Dr Laurent Lafosse as a Clinical Fellow. Dr Lafosse is widely recognised as a pioneer of modern arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Under his tutelage, Dr Yu was involved in the latest in keyhole shoulder surgery, and participated in cutting edge operations, including the all-arthroscopic Latarjet shoulder stabilisation procedure developed by Dr Lafosse. Taking away the minimally-invasive philosophies of Dr Lafosse was invaluable.
