Shoulder:
- Shoulder replacement – both anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty
- Rotator cuff repair
- Subacromial decompression including bursectomy and acromioplasty
- Stabilisation surgery – both arthroscopic and the Latarjet procedure
- Biceps tenotomy and tenodesis
- Calcific tendinitis surgery
- Distal clavicle excision for acromioclavicular joint arthritis

Elbow:
- Cubital tunnel release
- Elbow replacement surgery
- Elbow arthroscopy
- Medial and lateral epicondylitis surgery (Tennis elbow / Golfer’s elbow)

Wrist:
- Carpal tunnel release
- Wrist arthroscopy
- Wrist and base of thumb arthritis surgery
- Release for De Quervain’s syndrome
Orthopaedic trauma including:
- Clavicle fracture
- Proximal humerus fracture
- Distal radius fracture
- General lower limb trauma
Dr Yu will be able to see WorkCover / ReturnToWorkSA / 3rd party insurance patients with an approved claim number for the relevant injury.
Dr Yu will see and provide options for patients who do not have private health insurance and elect to self-fund.
Dr Yu will charge discounted consultation rates for pensioners and concession card holders.
Dr Yu endeavours to see all patients in a timely manner and at greatest convenience for his patients.
Dr Yu and his team will review all referrals as soon as they are received, and ensure availability for new patients. We are also able to offer a rapid assessment appointment for patients needing to be seen urgently, such as those with traumatic injuries including fractures and dislocations.

Whilst referrals from our allied healthcare providers won’t enable patients to access a Medicare rebate, correspondence from a patient’s physiotherapist or occupational therapist is always appreciated and helpful.
Dr Yu is always eager to speak with fellow Healthcare Providers regarding a patient’s clinical condition and management. This includes both patients known and new to Dr Yu.
